The United Kingdom has suffered several terrorist attacks within the past few months. With the ongoing threat of terrorism, Allianz Global Assistance reminds travellers to be vigilant when in public places and follow the advice of local authorities.

The latest attacks took place on 3 June 2017, at London Bridge and Borough Market. Multiple deaths and injuries have been reported with at least three Australians listed among the victims. The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) is urging people to contact their loved ones directly.

  • Please make yourself aware of the advice issued by DFAT via its website DFAT is urging Australians to pay close attention to their personal security at all times. Always monitor the media and other sources about possible new security risks.
